Lewiston, Idaho and Clarkston, Washington are sister cities occupying the two banks of the Snake River which forms the state border in southeastern Washington and north-central Idaho. The cities are named in honor of the Corps of Discovery explorers, Meriwether Lewis and William Clark. Lewiston is located 465 river miles from the Pacific Ocean at the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater Rivers.

The Lewis Clark valley serves as a regional commercial center for north-central Idaho, eastern Oregon, and southeast Washington. The Lewis Clark valley offers excellent educational opportunities, safe and friendly residential neighborhoods, state-of-the-art healthcare, historic sites, and great recreation.

Known as the "Banana Belt" due to the mild winter weather, golfing is a year round activity in the valley. The Lewis Clark valley is a growing, dynamic community offering a variety of activities and attractions as well as abundant business opportunities.
