Informational Facts
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is authorized by Congress to maintain the federal navigation channel (River and Harbor Act of 1945) that is 250-feet wide and 14-feet deep.
- The purpose of the routine maintenance is to provide a 14-foot depth throughout the designated federal navigation channel and restore access to selected port berthing areas.
