Megaload stalled near Lolo Pass

April 29, 2011

LOLO PASS – An Imperial Oil test module is stranded at the chain-up area for Lolo Pass because of weather.

The earliest the oversized shipment will leave now is Monday, according to a news release from the Idaho Transportation Department. “The National Weather Service predicts snow and below-freezing temperatures for higher elevations near the Idaho-Montana border.”

The megaload is on its way from Lewiston to just inside the Montana border, where it will park indefinitely at a private parking lot at Lolo Hot Springs.
